Indian students arrived at GUU to participate in the Summer International School of Hospitality, held as part of the joint network program of our university and the Russian International Academy of Tourism (RIAT)
The group of listeners from Guru Nanak Hotel Management University (Kolkata, India) was welcomed at the first management meeting by the Vice-Rector of GSU Dmitry Bryukhanov, the Director of the Institute of Personnel Management, Social and Business Communications Alexey Chudnovsky, and the RMAT officials.
During the training, guests will be able to immerse themselves in a professional environment: lectures on management and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector and trends in the development of the tourism industry in Russia will be combined with practical classes. Students will try their hand at organizing the attraction and service of various categories of travelers and will acquire effective communication skills in the hotel business.
In addition, the listeners are in for an intensive excursion program, organized with the participation of GUU students who studied in early 2026 under the International Winter School program in Calcutta.
It should be noted that the International School of Hospitality IUPSiBK GUU is one of the elements of the BRICS Graduate School – an educational project of GUU for training leaders in international business, tourism, and science.
