In 2026, at the Eastern Economic Forum, Kamchatka Krai will present a completely updated exhibition. Its core will be the theme of the 120th anniversary of the Russian submarine fleet, shown through the history of the city of Vilyuchinsk and the chronicles of the service of the submarine “St. George the Victorious.” The significance of the presence of strategic forces in Kamchatka cannot be overstated, and in the exhibition at the “Far East Street” this theme will be presented as the “City of the Guardians of Peace.”
“Every year we try to surprise guests and participants of the Eastern Economic Forum with the exhibition ‘Street of the Far East’. The regions strive to show what they are proud of, how they see their future, and what makes them attractive to investors and tourists. Everyone knows the unique nature of Kamchatka, its geysers and volcanoes. But Kamchatka is not only amazing natural landscapes. It is one of the dynamically developing territories of the Far East. New enterprises are being built here, and jobs are being created. By the order of the head of state, a master plan for Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is being implemented, and social infrastructure is being modernized through the presidential Far Eastern unified subsidy. The region’s exhibition will tell about how it is changing and what it plans to become in the near future,” said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the organizational committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.
The pavilion will be located on the embankment of Ajax Bay as part of the “Far East Street” exhibition, which will take place from September 1 to 4 as part of the XI Eastern Economic Forum. The exhibition is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
“This year, our exhibit on the ‘Far East Street’ will allow every guest to experience the unique character of our region. We have prepared a pavilion that not only tells about Kamchatka but also gives unforgettable emotions. Our guests will be able to personally feel the formidable breath of the land and at the same time touch the closed, heroic world of those who ensure security on the northeastern borders of our country. I invite everyone to visit the Kamchatka Krai pavilion to discover a region that inspires, amazes, and remains a reliable stronghold of Russia,” noted the governor of Kamchatka Krai, Vladimir Solodov.
Guests of the Kamchatka Krai pavilion will literally dive underwater. They will visit the central post of a submarine, get acquainted with the features of the reactor installation operation, learn the basic rules and principles of service in the submarine fleet. The “visit” to the submarine concludes with a story about the Kamchatka city of submariners – Vilyuchinsk.
Four exhibition zones tell in detail about modern Kamchatka: “Apartment,” “Campus,” “Workshop,” and “Dream House.” They will sequentially present the vivid character of life in Kamchatka, interesting opportunities to acquire new professions, unique job offers at regional enterprises, and, of course, the theme of protected Kamchatka. In these spaces, visitors will be able to look inside a Kamchatka resident’s refrigerator, plan an outdoor wedding somewhere near a volcano, get a traveler’s passport, and find interesting work for themselves.
A vivid attraction for visitors to the EEF will be the “Earthquakearium.” This is a special vibration platform on which pavilion visitors can experience the sensations of real earthquakes. Importantly, the device will reproduce seismic events that actually occurred in the past, including the powerful earthquake of last August. The “Earthquakearium” is a joint development of Kamchatka seismologists and Russian engineers.
The Investment Lounge will be located on the second floor of the pavilion. This is a special business communication area where you can calmly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the region’s investment proposals. Representatives of the Kamchatka Krai Development Corporation will talk about the opportunities for doing business in the region across the full range of industries and provide detailed consultations on the available support measures.
Traditionally, the work of the Kamchatka Krai pavilion will be accompanied by an exciting concert program. Next to the main exposition of Kamchatka Krai, a souvenir pavilion and a stage will be opened. The cultural program will showcase the diversity of traditional and contemporary creativity of the region through performances by the ensembles “Rus,” “Angt,” and the project “Sea of Volcanoes” as part of the director’s program “Unity of the Peoples of Kamchatka”.
Reminder: Following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025, the Kamchatka Krai pavilion became one of the best among the Far Eastern regions’ exhibitions, winning in the “High Technologies” category.
The XI Eastern Economic Forum will take place from September 1 to 4 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. During these days, the exhibition will be available to forum participants, and on September 5, 6, and 7, it will open to everyone interested. The organizer of the EEF is the Roscongress Foundation.
