The Bank of Russia on July 1, 2026 releases commemorative coins made of a copper-nickel alloy with a denomination of 25 rubles from the “Russian Sport” series:
– “Dynamo”,
– “CSKA,”
– “Lokomotiv,”
– “Spartak,”
– “Labor Reserves”.
Coins made of a copper-nickel alloy with a denomination of 25 rubles are circular in shape with a diameter of 27.0 mm.
Both the obverse and reverse sides of the coins have a raised rim around the circumference.
The edge of the coins is reeded.
The obverse side of the coins features a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, above it along the rim – an inscription in a semicircle “RUSSIAN FEDERATION”, framed on both sides by double diamonds, on the right – the mint’s trademark, below the emblem in the center in three lines – the inscription “BANK OF RUSSIA”, the coins’ denomination “25 RUBLES”, and the year of issue “2026.”
On the reverse side:
– the “Dynamo” coins (catalog number 5015-0079) feature a colored image of the emblem of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dynamo”; at the top along the circumference – a relief inscription “DYNAMO”;
– CSKA coins (catalog number 5015-0080) feature a color image of the Central Sports Club of the Army’s emblem;
– “Lokomotiv” coins (catalog number 5015-0081) feature a color image of the emblem of the Russian physical culture and sports society “Lokomotiv”; at the top along the circumference, there is an embossed inscription “LOKOMOTIV”;
– Spartan coins (catalog number 5015-0082) feature a colored image of the symbolism of the Russian physical culture and sports society “Spartak”; at the top along the circumference – a raised inscription “SPARTAK”;
– coins “Labor Reserves” (catalog number 5015-0083) feature a color image of the symbolism of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Labor Reserves”.
The mintage is 50,000 coins each.
The issued coins are legal tender in the territory of the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
