The northern part of the Sichuan-Tibet Plateau is an important area for livestock development in Sichuan-Tibet. When constructing the Qinghai-Tibet Railway through the northern part of the Sichuan-Tibet Plateau, in addition to creating passages for wild animals, a large number of culverts and bridges were also installed as “passages for cattle and sheep,” demonstrating the concept of considering both ecological protection and the production and living needs of herders during construction.
