Dear workers and veterans of the shipbuilding industry!

Congratulations on Shipbuilder’s Day!

Your work requires high qualification, deep engineering knowledge, attention to every detail, and immense responsibility. The quality of your work affects not only the reliability and durability of ships but also the safety of people.

Today, nearly 200,000 people work in shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises. Industry specialists annually increase production capabilities, master advanced technologies, and successfully implement large-scale projects. Russia is the only country in the world possessing unique competencies in building ice-class ships and vessels, including those with nuclear power plants. Thanks to this, our country has a powerful nuclear icebreaker fleet, floating nuclear power plants, modern submarines, specialized research, and civilian vessels.

Your work plays a crucial role in strengthening the country’s industrial and technological potential, ensuring its defense capability, developing the transport complex, and implementing strategic projects in the Arctic and at Russia’s maritime borders.

I wish you good health, prosperity, and further success for the benefit of domestic shipbuilding!
