During four weeks, participants from Sudan, Nigeria, Serbia, India, Haiti, Mexico, Ghana, Nepal, Turkmenistan, South Africa, and Peru studied two promising directions — “smart city” technologies and “artificial intelligence in medicine.” During the program, participants attended lectures, practical classes, research centers, and innovative companies in Novosibirsk, developed their own projects, and gained valuable experience working with modern technologies.

During the ceremony, the internship participants themselves also shared their impressions.

Participant from GhanaAndrewadmitted that the month spent in Novosibirsk became truly significant for him:

This internship opened a new perspective on the profession and life for me. Here I gained knowledge that is impossible to acquire anywhere else, learned a lot from the teachers and my colleagues. I was especially impressed by the motto of NGU: here they not only give knowledge, but also teach how to think. This precisely helps to make decisions on complex tasks.

According to a participant from NigeriaJosefa, a particular impression on him was made by the practically oriented form of training:

We were not limited only to classroom sessions. After each lecture, we went to real sites and saw with our own eyes how scientific centers and companies operate. This is truly inspiring.

Program participantMariathanked the teachers and organizers for their support, noting that during the internship they became true friends to the participants:

This program gave us the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to dream on a larger scale. We got acquainted with the largest scientific centers and companies in Russia, learned more about your culture, and together with it better understood ourselves. I hope that we will meet again at conferences and in new international projects.

At the end of the ceremony, all participants were awarded certificates for the successful completion of the international summer internship InteRussia.
