Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a working meeting with the acting head of the Republic of Dagestan, Fyodor Shchukin.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the socio-economic development of the region, the stability of the electric grid complex, the implementation of measures aimed at increasing the republic’s investment attractiveness, as well as the execution of significant infrastructure projects.
Special attention was paid to the current situation regarding the supply of petroleum products to Dagestan. It was noted that the stable provision of necessary resources to the region is crucial for the uninterrupted operation of transport, agricultural, communal, and social infrastructure. Among the priority tasks are the coordination of actions by federal and regional authorities with producers and fuel suppliers, operational monitoring of the situation in the subject, and the adoption of systemic decisions to maintain market stability.
