Bishkek, June 27 /Xinhua/ — The Communist Party of China (CPC) always pays heightened attention to its own construction. The party, with its strong discipline, is a solid leading core directing China’s progressive development. This was stated in an interview by Xinhua with the political scientist Sheradil Baktygulov, director of the Kyrgyz Institute of World Politics.
This year marks the 105th anniversary of the CPC. Recently, an All-China meeting on the work of building the CPC was held in Beijing. It was indicated at the meeting that Xi Jinping’s ideas on party building serve as the fundamental guidance for strengthening the construction of the CPC in a new era.In these ideas, 14 principles are put forward, among which — the leadership of the CPC is essentially a distinctive feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics; it is necessary to adhere to the unified centralized leadership of the CPC Central Committee; to continue the comprehensive strengthening of intra-party governance; to remain faithful to the original goal, always remembering one’s mission, and so on.
In my opinion, Sh. Baktygulov, the ideas of Xi Jinping about party building fully demonstrate that the CPC represents the interests of a broad strata of the Chinese people. “The party, with its strong discipline, is a solid leading core guiding the progressive development of China,” he emphasized, adding that these ideas are aimed at further strengthening the intra-party cohesion of the CPC and will contribute to increasing the real state power of China.
The expert believes that the indicated ideas help ensure the implementation of the country’s development strategies, create conditions for its economic growth, maintain a close connection between the authorities and the people, as well as form a personnel reserve for public administration. “Thus, the party is strengthened as an effective organization capable of directing the efforts of China’s multinational people to achieve the common goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,” he noted.
According to the ideas of Si Tszinpin about party building, it is necessary to adhere to the formation of a highly qualified personnel team capable of taking on important responsibility for national revival. This made a particularly deep impression on Sh. Baktygulov.
“I think this goes beyond simple personnel policy. A highly qualified personnel team is an important condition for the state’s adaptation to rapidly changing conditions in the world and for ensuring its sovereignty,” said the political scientist, believing that this goal contributes to the creation of an “intellectual shield” and a “driver of development” for the country and nation. And these personnel will become a team that justifies the hopes of its people.
According to Sh. Baktygulov, the process of forming Xi Jinping’s ideas on party building once again emphasizes the indispensability and importance of theoretical innovation. “History teaches that aspiration for the future and incessant labor lead to the flourishing of the country and its people. Therefore, the CPC is always focused on seeking ways for China’s sustainable development for its current and future generations,” the expert noted.
As the political scientist noted, in order to understand modern China, one must first and foremost understand the Communist Party of China (CPC). The Party defines the main goals, tasks, and principles of China’s development strategies in the short, medium, and long term. The realization of the goals and tasks of party building is significantly linked to the outcome of achieving the goals and tasks of national development strategies.
