Following the meeting of the Government Commission on Improving the Efficiency of Federal Property Use and Development of the Territories of the DOM.RF Company, 5.23 hectares of land and buildings and structures with a total area of more than 23,500 sq. m. will be transferred to management. Among them are 10 cultural heritage sites, the work on which is being carried out under the instructions of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Plots, property complexes, and buildings will be put up for auction after the preparatory procedure is completed. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
“The preservation of historical heritage is directly linked to the development of the urban environment and the quality of life of people. Behind each object is the history of the city, and our task is to ensure that these buildings gain a second life and serve the interests of people, becoming points of attraction for residents and guests. The President has set the task to bring no fewer than 1,000 cultural heritage sites into order by 2030. Within the framework of this work, the commission transfers such objects to the ‘DOM.RF’ agency. Then the company conducts tenders, after which the monuments are transferred to investors for subsequent restoration.”According to the new decision of the board of directors, “DOM.RF” will receive 10 more historical and architectural monuments in six regions. Preferential financing within the framework of the presidential program is provided for their restoration. Such a mechanism allows investors to reduce costs, and regions – to effectively return monuments to economic turnover. As a result of the meeting of the board of directors, 5.23 hectares of land and more than 23.5 thousand square meters of buildings and structures in eight regions will be transferred to the management of the company “DOM.RF,” Marat Khusnullin said.
Cultural heritage sites are located in the Republic of Mordovia, Omsk, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, and Chelyabinsk regions. These are residential houses, administrative, educational, commercial, and industrial buildings from the first half of the 19th century – early 20th century.
“Our main task in implementing historic buildings is to find responsible investors who will give monuments a second life. Since 2018, 179 such objects have already been implemented on the DOM.RF exchange in 39 regions, 23 of which have been restored in 11 subjects of the Russian Federation. Following the results of another meeting of the revision commission, among other things, we will be handed over: an entire historic quarter in Temnikov (Mordovia), two residential houses of the 19th century in Troitsk (Chelyabinsk region), as well as the building of the Peasants’ and Nobles’ Banks of 1912 in Samara,” noted the Deputy General Director of DOM.RF Denis Filippov.
In addition, among the lots that will be put up for auction, there is a plot of 1.1 hectares in Novosibirsk for the construction of 16 thousand square meters of housing. Besides this, the commission approved the implementation of a comprehensive territory development project (KRT) on 62 hectares near Izhevsk in the Udmurt Republic. Here, it is planned to build private houses with a total area of 78.5 thousand square meters.
Also, according to the decision of the commission “DOM.RF”, plots with a total area of 2.4 hectares will be transferred free of charge to the ownership of Tyumen. They are located near the recently completed residential complex “Avtorsky”, built as a result of one of the “DOM.RF” auctions for the right to conclude a contract with the contractor. It is planned to place a boulevard, a children’s playground, and carry out landscaping and greening here.
