Competition for filling vacant positions of the professor-teaching staff

Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, in accordance with Article 332 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and due to the availability of vacant positions in the professorial and teaching staff as of September 1, 2026, for the 2026/2027 academic year, announces a competitive selection for filling the following positions:

  • assistant;
  • senior lecturer;
  • associate professor;

  • professor.

By departments:

  • architectural and construction structures;

  • Reinforced concrete and stone structures;

  • mathematicians;

  • management in construction;

  • Construction mechanics;

  • technology of informational and mathematical modeling;

  • terrorism security;

  • transport systems and road-bridge construction.

The term for which the employment contract will be concluded for each of the above-mentioned positions corresponds to the term of election by competition, – three years (until August 31, 2029).

The competition procedure is defined by the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated December 4, 2023, No. 1138 “On the approval of the Regulation on the procedure for filling positions of pedagogical workers related to the professorial and teaching staff” and“Regulations on the organization and procedure for competitive selection for the positions of teaching staff at SPbGASU”(Approved by the decision of the Academic Council of SPbGASU on June 27, 2024, protocol No. 6 (with amendments from April 24, 2025)).

The qualification requirements are defined:

  • “Unified Qualification Handbook of Positions for Managers, Specialists, and Employees” (approved by the order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation dated January 11, 2011 No. 1n);

  • Requirements for conducting the competitive selection of PPS SPbGASU (approved by the decision of the Academic Council of SPbGASU dated April 23, 2026, protocol No. 7).

To participate in the competitive selection, it is necessary to submit electronically through the personal account portal within the period from June 26 to July 31, 2026 inclusive (https://portal.spbgasu.ru/– for employees of SPBGASU,https://konkurspps.spbgasu.ru/– for applicants who are not employees of SPBGASU) the following documents:

  • statement on behalf of the university rector;

  • copy of the document on higher education;

  • copy of the candidate’s/doctor’s diploma (if available);

  • a copy of the associate professor/professor certificate (if available);

  • documents confirming the length of scientific and pedagogical work experience (certificate of pedagogical experience or a copy of the employment record book, certified at the place of work) – for applicants who are not regular employees of SPbGASU;

  • list of scientific and educational-methodical works for the last three years;

  • Consent to the processing of personal data

  • documents confirming the absence of restrictions on engaging in labor activity in the field of education (certificate of no criminal record).

The procedure and deadlines for making changes to the terms of the competition, as well as its cancellation:

  • Amendments to the competition conditions, as well as its cancellation, are formalized by the rector’s orderuntil July 31, 2026.
