Yesterday, June 25, on the territory of the “Oyek” aerodrome (Irkutsk district), a test drive of the latest generation KAMAZ K5 trucks took place.

Invitations to the test drive were received by heads of large companies, those already operating freight motor transport, representatives of leading transport and logistics enterprises of the region, and other consumers. The business program began with the official presentation of PJSC “KAMAZ.” The general director of the “Trading and Financial Company ‘KAMAZ'” Andrey Kozhevnikov, his deputy – commercial director of TFK “KAMAZ” Andrey Asromeshin, and general director of LLC “Auto Spare Parts KAMAZ” Igor Roshchupkin spoke to the audience. The speakers presented a model range of the latest generation K5 cars, talked about their key advantages and the conditions of service maintenance.

As part of the promo event, participants were able to personally test three high-tech vehicles of the K5 generation at the aerodrome territory. The test drive featured a heavy four-axle KAMAZ-65951 dump truck (8×4), designed for work at large construction sites, in quarries, and for transporting large volumes of loose cargo. Also available was a four-wheel drive heavy KAMAZ-65952 dump truck (6×6), developed for work in extreme road and climatic conditions (quarries, construction sites without hard pavement, technological roads). In addition, it was possible to test another representative of the all-wheel-drive K5 family in action – the newest KAMAZ-65954 (6×6) tractor unit. The vehicle is designed for transporting heavy loads and working with special trailers (lowbeds, timber carriers) in extreme road conditions and off-road. The model is focused on the construction, mining, and logging industries.

After the test drive, Irkutsk carriers and potential clients noted the smoothness of the ride, noise insulation, and the high level of ergonomics of the modern K5 cabins, including an excellent driver’s view and intuitively understandable control of onboard systems.

Parallel to the airfield site, there was an exhibition featuring other in-demand KAMAZ K5 generation technology models, allowing visitors to appreciate the full variety of the company’s modern model range.
