Vladimir Ovcharov, director of the Moscow Exchange stock market:
“Stock funds are a simple and convenient instrument that allows investors to diversify their portfolio, leveraging the advantages of professional capital management. We see stable interest in funds — since the beginning of the year, more than 3.5 million people have made transactions with mutual funds on the Moscow Exchange, a total of 8.8 million people have invested in mutual funds. Meanwhile, in the first 5 months of 2026, private investors invested 185 billion rubles in mutual funds. As an exchange, we see our task in creating conditions for expanding the range of accessible instruments that will meet the actual needs of investors.”Therefore, today we are pleased to welcome a new management company familiar to every brand and its first exchange-traded funds, which provide additional diversification opportunities for Russian investors.
Vahè Ovasapyan, CEO of Ozon Fintech:
“Our task is to create attractive investment instruments for retail investors, so we have formed funds that are available for purchase at various levels of savings. Currently, five mutual funds are already registered, but by the end of the year, we intend to form several more, focusing on low-risk instruments. Very soon, we will launch our own brokerage division, and the units will be available for purchase by Ozon Bank clients.”
Shares of the “Ozon Money Market” are available to unqualified investors and can be purchased, including through an individual investment account (IIA). After three years of holding fund shares listed on the Moscow Exchange, the investor can take advantage of a tax benefit for long-term ownership of securities.
