The freight yard of Lasa-West railway station, located on Naijun Street in the Duilun-Decin district of Lasa city, is the largest freight station on the Qincai-Siczan section of the railway. Since the railway’s launch in 2006, the volume of dispatched and received cargo increased from 329 thousand tons to 6.429 million tons in 2025. The range of goods has also expanded from the initial 10 types to more than 50, including construction materials, automobiles, food products, and consumer goods. As of April 2026, the total volume of dispatched and received cargo at this yard exceeded 100 million tons.
