Washington, June 20 /Xin Hua/ — U.S. Vice President Jay Di Pence flew from Washington to Switzerland on Saturday to participate in negotiations with Iran.
“I think there is hope that we will make progress on the nuclear issue, on the cessation of fire in Lebanon,” the vice president told journalists before departing. “These are two key issues that we will focus on.”
“I can stay there all day or two,” added J. D. Vance.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also flew to Switzerland to participate in technical negotiations on the continuation of signing the memorandum of understanding between the USA and Iran, the Prime Minister’s office reported on social networks.
