Washington, June 19 /Xinhua/ — The United States Armed Forces on Thursday launched another strike on a vessel allegedly belonging to drug traffickers in the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, resulting in three people killed. This was reported by the US Southern Command on the social network X.
The vessel was under the control of organizations included in the list of terrorists and followed a known narcotrafficking route in the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, according to the command page on the X social network.
“Three male drug-terrorists were killed in the operation in Rhodes. None of the American soldiers were harmed,” the military stated.
Since September of last year, American forces have sunk dozens of vessels, presumably transporting drugs in the Caribbean basin and the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, resulting in the deaths of 211 people.
