Beijing, June 18 /Xin Hua/ — On Wednesday in Beijing, the publishing house of Hainan Province /Southern China/ “Hainan Publishing House” and the Center of International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of a project in the field of digital vocational education and publishing between the two countries.
According to the “Hainan Publishing House” report, cooperation between the two institutions within the project will be developed in 4 aspects, namely the development of localized digital educational materials, the long-term joint creation of a publishing mechanism, the export of resources with digital educational content in accordance with legislative requirements, and the facilitation of the creation of a digital educational platform.
The parties will cooperate in the development of digital educational materials adapted to the teaching model “Chinese language + professional education” in Tajikistan in accordance with local state standards. In addition, the project also provides for the export to Tajikistan of digital resources containing content in the fields of the Chinese language, professional education, and general knowledge.
Standardized educational materials prepared within the framework of cooperation will contribute to the creation of a digital education platform in Tajikistan, added in “Hainan Publishing House.”
Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Committee of Hainan Province Zhang Zhengmin stated at the signing ceremony that cooperation within the framework of the above-mentioned project is focused on key areas such as the development of localized digital teaching materials, joint development of courses “Chinese language + professional skills”, joint development of training standards and joint training of qualified specialists, which can meet Tajikistan’s needs for education modernization and industrial development.
“Hainan Publishing House” has been actively working in the publishing industry for many years and has rich experience in research and development in the field of professional education, digital publications, and the implementation of international projects,” he noted, adding that both parties possess complementary advantages and quality resources.
At the signing ceremony, there was also a speech by the director of the Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ramazon Odinazoda, via video link.
Let us remind you that the signing ceremony took place within the framework of the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair. The event, which will last until June 21, involves more than 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions around the world, with the UAE serving as the country of honor.
About 220 thousand titles of books from China and foreign countries are presented at today’s fair.
