Saint Petersburg, June 18 / Xin Hua/ — The development called “Digital Tourist Cloud of the Silk Road” for travelers from Russia and China was presented at Novgorod State University /NovSU/, the university’s press service reported.
The development is designed to integrate booking services, payments, visa support, and multilingual navigation for tourists. The platform includes a module for instant multilingual translation, a payment gateway supporting Alipay, WeChat Pay, SberPay, and the “Mir” card, as well as a visa digitization and customs procedure system with automatic document verification and real-time status tracking.
In the “Digital Tourist Cloud of the Silk Road,” AI assistants for building personalized routes and guides for key attractions/Red Square, the Forbidden City, monuments of the Golden Ring with augmented reality functionality are also provided.
