Moscow, June 17 /Sina/ — The Ukrainian attack on a bus carrying children and Belarusian citizens is yet another monstrous crime; the silent reaction from international organizations and national governments will signify approval of terrorism and encourage Kiev to commit new bloody crimes. This was stated in a comment by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
“On the A-240 highway in the Pochepsky district of the Bryansk region, UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine equipped with lethal elements attacked a civilian bus carrying children from sports schools from Belarusian Gomel and Rechitsa to a vacation in Gelendzhik. There were 44 people in the cabin, including 28 children. A female minor accompanying the group died,” said M. Zagarova.
According to her, the Investigative Committee of Russia classified this as a terrorist act and initiated a criminal case. “Work has begun to establish the circumstances of this crime and the persons involved in it. We are confident that all the guilty will be punished,” the diplomat added.
M. Zaharova expressed condolences to the relatives and close ones of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all those affected, calling upon “international structures, national governments and the world community to resolutely condemn this terrorist act,” emphasized the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
As previously reported by the acting governor of Bryansk region, Egor Kovalchuk, in the messenger “Maks,” the armed forces of Ukraine struck a bus with a children’s football team from Gomel, who were heading to vacation in Gelendzhik, using a drone aircraft.
