Kuala Lumpur, June 17 /Xinhua/ — Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrived in the Russian Federation on Wednesday on a working visit in connection with the anniversary Russia-ASEAN summit, with the first item on his agenda being the discussion of energy cooperation.
The visit, during which a meeting between the leaders of the ASEAN countries and the RF will take place, will be used to ensure uninterrupted and reliable supplies of oil and diesel fuel to Malaysia, said A. Ibragim at a briefing on the eve of the visit.
“Among the issues I intend to pay attention to during the meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, is ensuring the further supply of oil to us. This reflects the advantage of maintaining good relations with other countries,” he said. According to A.
