Beijing, June 17 /Xin Hua/ — In July of this year, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 and the High-Level Conference on Global Artificial Intelligence Governance will be held in Shanghai, Deputy Head of the State Committee for Development and Reform of the PRC Zhou Haibin announced on Wednesday.
“China hopes to use the upcoming WAIC as a favorable opportunity for further strengthening international cooperation in the field of AI with various countries,” said the official at the press conference.
