Beijing, June 17 /Xinhua/ — The Office of the State Committee on Combating Narcotics of the PRC announced on Wednesday the decision to include 16 more non-medicinal narcotic and psychotropic substances in the list of controlled substances.
According to the authorities, this decision will come into effect on July 1, 2026.
Taking this supplement into account, the list of controlled substances in China includes 412 types of non-medicinal narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as entire categories of substances related to fentanyl, synthetic cannabinoids, and nitazenes.
