Beijing, June 16 /Xinhua/ — A comprehensive industrial system of China, diverse application scenarios, a highly qualified talent reserve, and a constantly improving political environment create fertile ground for innovation for enterprises from all over the world, said Lin Qian, official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, on Tuesday at another press conference.
A Chinese diplomat made this statement in response to a recent survey that showed 80 percent of surveyed American companies consider their activities in China either “very important” or “important” for enhancing their global competitiveness.
According to Lin Ziyan, more and more foreign companies are choosing China as a place for research and development (R&D), turning their production facilities in the country into innovation centers and increasing their international competitiveness in the vast Chinese market.
“China will continue to decisively promote openness at a high level and provide more support and convenience to foreign enterprises in China,” the diplomat assured. -0-
