UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres welcomed the announcement of the achievement of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran. According to the statement issued on behalf of the UN Secretary-General and released by his press service on Sunday, the agreement reached between Washington and Tehran may become an important step towards the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
