Belarus has delivered humanitarian aid to Vietnam

Minsk, June 13 /Xin Hua/ — Humanitarian aid from Belarus to the victims of large-scale floods in the central regions of Vietnam was delivered on June 11 to the seaport of Danang. Corresponding information was published by the Belarusian foreign policy agency on the same day.

The cargo, sent on the instructions of the President of Belarus, consisting of Belarusian-made goods weighing about 27 tons, was accepted by the leadership of the Department for Dam Management and Disaster Prevention of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam.

Advisor-envoy of the Belarusian embassy Oleg Shloma noted that Vietnam can always count on the fraternal help of Belarus in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies. The Belarusian diplomat expressed hope that the cargo delivered for many affected Vietnamese families will become significant assistance.

The event was attended by the leadership of Guangxi Province, which was the most affected by the flooding, as well as representatives of Vietnamese customs and migration authorities. –0–
