Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova congratulated the participants of the student teams on the opening of the 67th summer work semester.
From the transcript:
Dear friends!
I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the opening of the 67th summer working season of the “Russian Student Teams”!
The summer of 2026 promises to be busy. This year, student teams will implement 40 all-Russian labor projects, where tens of thousands of schoolchildren and students will work.
Traditionally, student teams will be involved in the international construction projects – in Egypt, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, and Hungary.
For the first time this summer, student teams will participate in the construction of a high-speed highway, which will contribute to the development of Russia’s transport infrastructure, as well as in the construction of the nuclear icebreaker “Chukotka.” Participation in a project of this scale is an opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience.
On the territory of our country, students from friendly states – the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Abkhazia – will participate in the labor project “RSO.” For the first time this year, the labor project at Pulkovo Airport will have the status of an international project.
An important direction of work will be the participation of students in the pedagogical squad—they will be involved in all-Russian children’s centers of the country, where they will help organize children’s recreation and leisure.
In addition, during this summer vacation, more than 50 thousand schoolchildren will gain their first work experience. The kids will be engaged in the improvement of urban spaces, will work as assistants to counselors and animators in children’s camps, as cashiers and administrators at the railway station.
Students of medical colleges will also be employed in medical institutions of Perm, Orenburg, and Chelyabinsk, where they will be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice and provide real assistance to the healthcare system as junior and mid-level medical workers.
Dear members of the student teams! Your work is not just labor. It is a school of life, professional growth, friendship, and mutual assistance. You demonstrate an active civic position, a readiness to participate in the development of our country and to help those who need it.
I wish you strong health, inexhaustible energy, new achievements, and success in all your endeavors. May the 67th work season become unforgettable for you, bring bright impressions, useful skills, and loyal friends!
Have a successful working season!
