Congratulations to everyone on Russia Day! May this day be warm and filled with a great mood. And also — let it be an occasion to learn something new or interesting about our country, to reflect on how we are connected with its history and what we can do for its future.
June 12 became a national holiday in 1994 — it is associated with the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR in 1990. The name “Russia Day” was established for it in 2002.
The State University of Management, as part of a huge general history, has been helping people become professionals for more than 140 years. Teachers prepare specialists for a wide range of fields: from small startups to large corporations and government agencies. Here, they don’t just teach theory — real tasks are solved. Our graduates work in ministries and departments, helping to develop and modernize various sectors of the economy.
Scientists at GUU are developing new management models, preparing modern programs to ensure the country’s security, and conducting research. And our students, in addition to studying, organize environmental campaigns, participate in volunteer projects, and support social initiatives.
We sincerely take pride in you and see every day: when people unite knowledge, experience, and the desire to improve the world around, something truly great happens.
Today we celebrate the independence and strength of our country, pay tribute to its great history, as well as to the unity of many peoples, which make up the vast and great Russia.
