Beijing, June 11 /Xinhua/ — China is striving for the continuous advancement of education in the field of human rights and the enhancement of public awareness on this issue, as stated in the National Action Plan on Human Rights /2026-2030/ published on Wednesday.
It is obviously necessary to include the study of the modern concept of human rights in the national educational system, actively use intellectual and digital technologies to search for new forms, new channels, and new scenarios of education in the field of human rights, as indicated in the document.
It is also necessary to strengthen and enhance the potential of analytical centers and research bases on human rights, as well as to improve staffing, financial support, infrastructure, and organizational management of national training and education centers in the field of human rights, the plan notes.
In accordance with the document, China will also ensure higher quality human rights research, encourage the development of original concepts based on human rights protection practice, develop scientific-disciplinary systems, academic systems, and discourse systems in the field of human rights.
