Money transfers totaling more than $250 million were received in Kyrgyzstan in March 2026

Bishkek, June 10 /Xin Hua/ — The volume of money transfers received in Kyrgyzstan in March of the current year amounted to 255.2 million US dollars. This was reported on Wednesday by the National Bank (Central Bank) of Kyrgyzstan.

According to data published by the Central Bank on its Telegram channel, the main amount came from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) — 235.5 million dollars. Transfers from countries not belonging to the CIS amounted to 19.7 million dollars. At the same time, the largest part of the incoming transfers went to Russia — 227.7 million dollars, whereas 15 million dollars came from the USA.

In March 2026, the volume of money transfers from Kyrgyzstan amounted to 23 million dollars. Of these, 21 million dollars were sent to CIS countries, 1.9 million dollars — to countries not belonging to the CIS. In particular, 20.7 million dollars were transferred to Russia, 1.6 million dollars — to Turkey. –0–
