On the Main Alley of VDNH, opposite Pavilion No. 19 “Atom”, the fifth exhibition “Science in Faces” has opened. Visitors will see a gallery of portraits of outstanding Russian scientists, authors of breakthrough research and developments. This year, the concept of the exposition is “Scientists — new rock stars.” The exhibition can be visited until July 12.

In the new season of the project, 32 researchers from 15 regions of Russia participated. The scientific achievements of these specialists have been recognized with high state and honorary awards. Among the heroes of the exhibition are laureates of the Moscow Government Prize for Young Scientists for 2025: Pavel Vorobyov, Mariya Deryabina, Evgeny Knyazev, Anastasia Lipatova, and Anastasia Sosnovtseva.

The exhibition also features portraits of the laureates of the President’s and the Government of the Russian Federation awards for young scientists, holders of scientific awards from Sber and “Vyzov”, winners of the Russian Science Foundation competitions, participants in meetings with the President at the Congress of Young Scientists, as well as employees of leading scientific organizations and technological companies: “Sibur”, Sber, and “Rosatom”.

The exhibition will show scientists far from the stereotype of a recluse in a white coat. The heroes of the project are presented as daring, bold, and energetic figures, emphasizing their creative nature and passion for their favorite work. Bright portraits capture the authors of advanced Russian developments. Their research covers the production of plasma rocket engines and atomic batteries, radiation safety technologies, and the extraction of rare earth metals, the creation of new materials and alternatives to antibiotics, drugs for cancer and orphan diseases, as well as human-centered artificial intelligence and “megascience” class projects.

The exhibition is held with the grant support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Detailed information about the project hero and the development is available atsiteorganizators.

Holding cultural and mass events at VDNH corresponds to the implementation of the exhibition development strategy until 2030.
