The program will start with a plenary discussion “Course for long-term growth: how not to lose opportunities” with the participation of the Chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina. Under the influence of a tough monetary policy, inflation has slowed to a minimum over 5 years, and the key interest rate is gradually decreasing. Participants in the discussion will discuss whether it has been possible to return the economy to balanced and sustainable growth and how changing external circumstances can affect it.
Speakers of the second plenary session will talk about how the financial market is changing under the influence of technology, how its participants are adapting to the new reality, what instruments and practices are emerging, and what may become a thing of the past. The moderator will be the First Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia, Vladimir Chistyukhin.
Panel discussions will be devoted to issues of economics and monetary-credit policy, financial stability, development of banking regulation, fintech and the financial market, and the global agenda. A total of 21 sessions are planned.
