Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin took part in a meeting of the heads of subjects of the Russian Federation – members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, which was held within the framework of the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that, as a result, by 2025 a maximum volume of residential and non-residential real estate will be introduced across the entire country – almost 150 million square meters. All indicators were met, including roads: last year, 28.4 thousand kilometers of highways were repaired, reconstructed, and built.

Marat Husnullin emphasized that the main task of the national project is to improve the quality of the living environment in the anchor settlements by 30% by 2030 and by 60% by 2036. For this purpose, 2160 anchors were approved, where more than 70% of the country’s population lives.

The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) is designed to promote effective interaction among subjects of the Russian Federation on the issue of economic development based on the unification and use of scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative achievements. The Association unites the 20 strongest regions in terms of innovation.

In addition, at the forum, Marat Husnullin jointly with the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin signed an updated cooperation agreement between the Government of Russia and the Government of Moscow in the field of digital transformation of the construction industry. The document develops the agreed provisions enshrined in the previously signed agreement and adds a new direction – digital master planning. This allows, based on digital data, to analyze the needs of territories, generate optimal development scenarios, and automatically check projects for compliance with regulations.The implementation of such mechanisms will provide a comprehensive approach to the development of the urban environment, and the capital’s practices will be replicated in other regions of the country.
