On this fine day, the State University of Management congratulates the Vice-Rector of the State University of Management, Doctor of Pedagogical and Technical Sciences, Professor Mariya Karelin.
Under her sensitive and confident leadership, scientific research at the university has reached a new level: its volume has tripled, new laboratories and unique projects have been launched, and even a Center for Space Research, unmanned and radio-electronic technologies was opened. Her professional qualities were recognized at the all-Russian level: in 2023, the professor became a laureate of the Government Award in the field of education, and in 2025 – Vice-Rector of the Year for R&D in the nomination “Economic Universities.”
Maria Yuryevna confidently represents the interests of GUU in working with partners, constantly expanding the network of scientific agreements, personally visits new regions, and participates in assisting SVO participants, for which she received letters of gratitude from the Government of the Kherson region and the 33rd squad named after V.F. Margelov of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation at the beginning of this year. Her work for the benefit of the development of the capital of Russia was also noted by the Mayor of Moscow, who awarded her with a letter of gratitude.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our wonderful prorector and wish him such a reserve of strength that he not only keeps pace with the times, but sets the pace for scientific discoveries. May hypotheses be confirmed not only in theory, but also in real practice, bringing benefits to the university, the industry, and society.
