Professional retraining program “Teaching mathematics and related disciplines in secondary and higher school”startedIn the autumn of 2025, with the support of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, SUNTS NGU, the S.L. Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, and the school of non-formal education “Resonance” (Tomsk).

When designing the program, we chose a modular principle for its construction. For us, it was important to create a situation of full immersion of the learner in the activity. This contributed to the qualitative elaboration of the projects by the listeners. Through courses, complementing the modules, allowed to delve deeper into the content of pedagogy as a science,— comments the deputy director of the mathematics centerAnastasia Karpenko.

On the program, the participants worked on their practical tasks: conducted analytics and research, put forward hypotheses, redesigned disciplines and modules, conducted testing.

— UCheba in the program helped me not only to gain knowledge in the field of pedagogy and education but also to advance in implementing my project. In the framework of the diploma work, I described a set for our program “Engineering School”: its evolution, the current device system; analyzed the quality of the created system. All this helped me better understand the program, numerically verify the hypotheses we put forward, and identify points of system development. As the program’s instructors and experts note, this is a step towards a full technologization of the process. It is especially gratifying that I — a second-year student — was able to take advantage of this opportunity. It turns out that I will graduate from university not with one, but with two diplomas. This is pleasant, but more importantly, of course, knowledge and the opportunity to work with professionals.— shares his impressionsSofya Baratina.

Tatiana Viktorovna and I have different levels of experience; she has more, I less. Like many colleagues, we both have a university mathematical education and no pedagogical background. The program helped us to systematize and justify what we do within the framework of teaching. Previously, we often acted based on interest and our own vision. The course on activity-based pedagogy helped us to analyze the foundations of pedagogical activity in detail. During the program, we made significant progress in project implementation and presented our results at a conference. The commission members highly appreciated our work and recommended to definitely continue and publish the result, we will proceed accordingly., — reasons the head of the department of higher mathematics at SibSUTISMarina Kozlova.

In Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, there are many unique pedagogical practices. We believe that these practices need to be systematized and formalized in the form of appropriate technologies. It is precisely in this way that they will be able to be scaled. In the program, we paid special attention to modern pedagogical technologies and the technologization of the teaching process. This means that the obtained results in diplomas can be applied by other teachers to solve similar pedagogical tasks., — summarizes the associate professor of the mathematical centerSvetlana Krajchinskaya.

Members of the attestation commission highly appreciated the level of the completed diploma works and wished the graduates not to stop at what has been achieved.

I completed a course on activity-based pedagogy and listened to ideas and projects in February. Next time we met during the defense. Progress is visible, which is very encouraging. It is important that the work does not end with obtaining the diploma; it is necessary to continue moving forward and applying knowledge in practice, developing domestic education., — summarizes the chairman of the commissionAleksey Borovski.
