The memorandum provides for the creation of the first full-cycle electricity accumulation systems testing and certification center in Russia. The new center, covering an area of 5 thousand sq. m, will be located in the TiNAO at the “Krasnaya Pakhra” site of the special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow.” For its equipment, 55 units of high-tech equipment will be purchased. The investment volume for the project implementation will exceed 2 billion rubles. The new center will be able to fully meet the needs of the entire electric power industry of the Russian Federation.
As of today, about 35% of the cost of electric vehicles is the traction battery. Localization of battery production will allow reducing costs and thereby increase the economic attractiveness of using electric transport. Control over the entire production chain will stimulate the development of domestic electric vehicle production and accelerate the implementation of technological innovations.
Currently, in Krasnoyarsk, construction is ongoing on two of the largest plants for the production of accumulator batteries on an area of over 34 hectares. After reaching the design capacity, they will be able to produce up to 33 million accumulator cells per year. The total production area will be about 200 thousand square meters. More than 2 thousand highly qualified jobs will be created at the enterprise. Investments attracted for the implementation of the projects amount to about 110 billion rubles.
Denis Manturov and Sergey Sobyanin signed a Memorandum on cooperation for the program of preferential leasing of civilian water transport vessels. The document was also signed remotely by the Assistant to the President, Chairman of the Maritime Collegium of Russia, Nikolai Patrushev.
The entire program involves the construction and subsequent leasing of about 50 civilian vessels for water transport, including the commercial segment – the vessels “Moscow 3.0” and a vessel for the Moscow canals, the cruise vessel “Moscow Golden Ring,” as well as the urban segment – the vessels “Moscow 1.0” and “Moscow 2.0.” Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed on joint development of program parameters, proposals for amendments to regulatory legal acts, financial decisions, and other organizational matters.
The signing of the memorandum secures systematic federal support for Moscow shipbuilding and guarantees the shipyard’s workload with long-term orders, which will become the basis for a large-scale renewal of the passenger fleet and the development of the capital’s water framework.
