In Khabarovsk, the heads of the Far Eastern regions, under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, participated in the educational and methodological meeting. The event was attended by the Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunov, the leadership of the apparatus of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The task of the assemblies is to ensure the safety of the population in conditions of terrorist acts and emergencies.
“The safety of people largely depends on the responsibility of governors. Unfortunately, fires, floods, and heavy snowfalls create difficulties for life in the Far East. The possibility of terrorist attacks also exists, and we must be ready to prevent them and, in unavoidable cases, respond to threats. The most important factor is the interaction of government structures – EMERCOM, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, and others. It was precisely the development of interaction regulations, taking into account new challenges, that the meeting was dedicated to,” said Yuri Trutnev.
During the training process, governors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new tactical training ground in the Khabarovsk Krai, as well as with the work of the “Voin” center.
An exhibition of samples of products from the Patriotic Industrial Cluster, which is supplied to the SVO zone by the regions of the Far East, was presented.
