In the cultural center “Moskvich”, subordinate to the capitalDepartment of Culture, will host a festival“Zelenka”. This is a series of summer open-air concerts where young musicians present their creativity to the residents of the capital.
This year, the festival will run from June 5 to August 28. Concerts will be held every Friday at 20:00. In June and August, you can visit the N.E. Bauman Garden, and in July — the courtyard of the cultural center “Moskvich”. Admission is free for spectators.
Guests will hear compositions by the singer Freska. She creates music by combining pop forms and electronic experiments. The young group “Vast Kosmos” will perform rock compositions. In their creativity, the musicians combine reggae, chanson, Russian folk song, and ethnic motifs.
“A festival is an opportunity to perform for a new audience, as well as to get acquainted with other musicians,” said Konstantin Litvinenko, a member of the band.
This year, 60 applications were submitted to participate in the project. Among the artists is a singer under the pseudonym Premudraya. She will present original musical compositions.
“For me, it is important to meet with the audience at live concerts; in summer, I always try to do as many outdoor performances as possible so that everyone can combine the pleasant with the useful: to listen to good music and spend time in nature. ‘Zelenka’ precisely provides such an opportunity. Moreover, it is an excellent chance to introduce my work to new viewers who can join the concert or simply take a walk in the garden,” the singer noted.
The ‘Zelenka’ project appeared in 2017. Initially, concerts were held in the courtyard of the ‘Moskvich’ cultural center. In 2021, musicians also began performing in the N.E. Bauman Garden. Over nine years of the festival’s existence, more than 100 artists have joined it, and the audience exceeded 27 thousand listeners. In 2025, within the framework of the project, 12 concerts took place with the participation of young groups, which gathered about three thousand spectators.
