Every year Moscow organizes dozens of business trips during which city companies can present their goods and services to potential partners abroad. Since January, capital exporters have already visited CIS countries, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. The travel calendar was compiled taking into account the wishes of the capital’s business community. The list included events for IT developers, electronics and equipment manufacturers, medical products, food products, furniture, children’s goods and cosmetics, as well as companies from the machine-building and instrument-making industries.
Moscow Export Center(MEC) helps capital entrepreneurs with renting and constructing booths at events, organizing negotiations, and other issues. At major industry events, goods of city brands are exhibited on the unified platform Made in Moscow.
Potential partners are also coming to negotiations in the Russian capital. This year, delegations from Mongolia, Kenya, Qatar, and several other countries are expected.
In total, MEC offers more than 30 different support measures — from grants and training programs to promotion on foreign marketplaces. For example, the application process is open until the end of June forspecialized grant. Entrepreneurs can receive 10 percent of the amount of a foreign trade contract. New exporters and those who show a turnover growth of more than 20 percent are reimbursed up to 20 percent.
In addition, this year an online course was launched“Export packaging”, including key stages of product preparation for entering the international market. Also, companies can consult with ambassadors of the capital’s business community in other countries. Recently, partners from Turkey, Brazil, and Indonesia have joined the team of experts.

Creative industries
With the support of the city, representatives of the creative industries benefit from promotion in the international market. Thus, this spring, the projects of the capital’s video game and animation studios were presented atfestivalIn Brazil. More than 300 business meetings were held between companies from the two countries, several contracts are currently being finalized.
Designers — residents of Moscow Fashion Week, within the framework of bilateral agreements with foreign fashion associations concluded as a continuation of the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, regularly hold shows on partner platforms. Moreover, in 2026 Moscow concluded several international memorandums on cooperation aimed at developing the creative business. For example, two agreements were signed immediately with colleagues from India, both of which concerned the film production sector. One of the partners was the corporation of cinema, theater, and cultural development of the state of Maharashtra, which oversees the work of the largest film studio complex Film City in Mumbai. Another was the iconic screenwriters’ forum Spiral Bound in Bollywood.

Tourist potential
Since the beginning of 2026, representatives of Moscow’s tourism industry have held more than three thousand business meetings with potential foreign partners. In particular, trips to India and China were organized for city companies. The opportunities that the Russian capital offers travelers were also presented at events in Turkey and Belarus. Trips to Indonesia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, and a number of other countries are planned until the end of the year.
In spring, the capitals of Russia and China organized cross-cultural festivals. From February 16 to March 1, the Chinese New Year was celebrated in Moscow, and from February 19 to 22, Beijing residents became acquainted with the traditions of the Moscow Maslenitsa. At the opening ceremony of the festival “Moscow Maslenitsa in Beijing,” city representatives signedmemorandum of cooperationin the field of tourism. The document provides for the organization of joint exhibitions and industry events, the use of digital resources for project promotion, the exchange of best practices, and the preparation of introductory excursions for specialists in the hospitality industry of the two countries.
