Saint Petersburg, June 4 /Xin Hua/ — On Wednesday, at the 29th Petersburg International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg, the presentation of the first volume of the book “State Governance in China under Xi Jinping” took place in Russian.
About 100 representatives from mass media, analytical centers, and government bodies of China, Russia, and other countries participated in the ceremony.
The General Director of the Xinhua News Agency, Fu Hua, the General Director of the TASS Agency, Andrey Kondrashov, and the Consul General of China in St. Petersburg, Luo Changsui, jointly presented a new book.
Participants of the event noted that the book represents a documentary work that provides an overview of advanced experience and outstanding achievements in the field of public administration in China in the new era. Thanks to the abundance of detailed examples from practice, objective assessments, and systematic presentation, it comprehensively captures the challenging path of China, laid in conditions of overcoming difficulties and striving for progress in the new era.
It is expected that the Russian-language edition will become an authoritative and visual reference material for representatives of various segments of society in Russia who seek to better understand how China has achieved its development and ensured the effectiveness of state governance, as well as serve as a solid foundation for deepening cultural exchanges between China and Russia.
The first volume of the book “State Governance of China under Xi Jinping” was compiled by the Xin Hua News Agency and published by the Xin Hua Publishing House. At present, the book is available in Chinese, English, Arabic, Russian, and other languages. –0–
