“The city’s residents and guests had a unique chance to see the interiors of about 300 historical buildings, including recently restored ones that are usually closed. The program traditionally included about 10 historic mansions housing diplomatic missions. For the first time, participants could visit the Central Museum of the Russian Cossacks in Bolshoy Levshinsky Lane, the Vasily Leman mansion in Gorokhovsky Lane, and the A.N. Nosenkov—V.A. Balin estate on Povarskaya Street,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

At the request of Moscow residents, organizers arranged for the participants of the actionchildren’s restoration workshops. Young visitors learned how the historical appearance is being restored to urban buildings. In the new format for residents, walking tours were held. Participants of the event were expecting photo walks, fitness excursions, and gastronomic routes.

In the restored complex “Depo. Lesnaya,” the event “You and One Heritage” was held, which included about 70 activities. Among them were lectures by guides and local historians, as well as creative master classes.

The days of historical and cultural heritage have ended, but one can enjoy the unique appearance of the city all year round. The Moscow government is working to ensure that the capital is beautiful at any time.
