A pedestrian gallery will be created under the Dorogomilovsky highway bridge. “The project plans to reconstruct the lower level of the Dorogomilovsky motorway bridge and create a pedestrian space there, as well as a descent to the business center ‘Moscow-City.’ A state contract has already been signed, under the terms of which the design documentation must be ready by 2027, with the planned completion of construction scheduled for 2029. Thanks to the implementation of the project, there will be an additional route between the Presnensky district and Dorogomilovo,” noted Vladimir Efimov.
The object is located on the territory of two administrative districts — Central and Western. According to the project, the gallery will be equipped with a tower-type stairway descending to the Presnenskaya Embankment on one side, and to the Taras Shevchenko Embankment on the other. Both descents will be equipped with elevators.
“Simultaneously, the design of an above-ground pedestrian bridge is underway — a bridge that will connect the Moscow-City city railway station with the multifunctional complex “IQ-quarter.” After integrating the two projects and completing the reconstruction of the embankment on the right bank of the Moscow River, a route will appear for residents and guests of the capital from the Akademik Korolev Bridge to the business center,” added the head of the capital’s Department of Construction of Transport and Engineering Infrastructure.Vasily Desyatkov.
