From June 12 to 14, a traditional Festival of Tourism, Culture, and Sports will be held in the village of Novy, organized by the trade union committee of PJSC “KAMAZ”. In the year marking the 50th anniversary of the release of the first KAMAZ truck and the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny, the city’s working youth will join the KAMAZ workers.
Participants set up their camp, go through a tourist course, practice shooting with pneumatic rifles, and play musical lotto. From midnight until six in the morning, tourists are awaited by a program no less rich, with a flag-raising and a military-patriotic song contest. The organizers want to hear only live sound – a cappella and singing accompanied by guitar.
On the second day, teams will compete in hand agility, cross-country running, demonstrate their skills in orienteering, organize races on a catamaran, and present their business card. The jury will evaluate artistry, musicality, and the arrangement of the bivouac. The program will also include assembly and disassembly of a machine gun and rope pulling.
Winners will be determined in two categories – the city and the Kamaz.
