In May, the city transferred a total shared ownership of 54 non-residential premises in apartment buildings and administrative buildings with a total area of about four thousand square meters. “Homeowners in apartment buildings received the opportunity to register shared ownership of common property objects in 2014 by order of Sergei Sobyanin. In 2021, a similar right appeared for owners of real estate in administrative buildings. In May of this year, the list of objects transferred by the city into shared ownership was supplemented by 54 non-residential premises with an area of about four thousand square meters, located in seven administrative districts. Among them, 52 objects fall into apartment buildings, and two more — into non-residential buildings,” Vladimir Efimov said.
Property owners register the right of common shared ownership for basements, attics, stairwells, and technical rooms. Residents can also use them for their own needs, for example, to organize workplaces for concierges, storage for seasonal items, bicycles, scooters, and strollers, which will free up space in the apartment.
“Most of the objects transferred in May are located in the South-Western administrative district — 21 premises with a total area of 421.5 square meters. All of them are located in a single residential building in the Cheremushki district. In total, 2.5 thousand square meters of real estate were transferred to the owners in the apartment building in May. 1.4 thousand square meters of non-residential buildings were transferred into shared ownership,” noted
