Researchers from GUU presented intermediate results of a large scientific project in the field of Agro-Industrial Complex at an international conference in Kaliningrad.

Prorector Mariya Karelinа, Director of CUIP Vladimir Filatov, Associate Professor of the Department of Innovation Management Denis Serdechny spoke at the VI International Conference on Digitization of Agriculture and Organic Production «ADOP 2026».

In the report on the topic “Digital integration of full-cycle agricultural production complex (APK) economic systems to ensure food security,” scientists identified the main challenges in the APK sector today and ways to overcome them using digital ecosystems.

“Traditional approaches to digitalization face a fundamental contradiction – transparency versus data confidentiality. One way to overcome this is to transition from a centralized management model to building a decentralized digital ecosystem based on the federative principle,” proposed Denis Serdechny.

As an example of such an ecosystem, the scientific team of GUU demonstrated intermediate results of the implementation of a large scientific project “Ensuring the country’s food security based on the creation of hardware-software complexes and intelligent platform digital solutions in the field of development.”

According to the study materials, scientists established extensive feedback and exchanged experience with colleagues from other universities, which can be taken into account in further work.
