Minsk, June 3 /Xinhua/ — On Tuesday in Minsk, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maksim Ryzhenkov and the Minister of Foreign Economic Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Yun Jong Ho as part of a working visit of the Korean delegation to Belarus. The corresponding information was published by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus on the same day.
The parties exchanged views on the ways to activate bilateral cooperation in accordance with the arrangements, based on the results of the visit of the President of Belarus to the DPRK in March 2026. Special emphasis was placed on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food security, and healthcare.
The participants of the meeting also noted the mutual interest in converting high-level political contacts into new promising projects in the economic sphere. The interlocutors agreed to accelerate the preparation for holding the fourth meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the governments of Belarus and the DPRK in Minsk.
