In the park “Sokolniki”, under the jurisdiction of the metropolitanDepartment of Culture, the third stage of landscaping and rehabilitation of the territory begins. Now a plot is being fenced between the 2nd and 4th Rayings clearings, and then a temporary fence will be installed on the territory between the 4th Raying and the May clearing.
In the area bounded by the 3rd Luchevoy, Poperechny and Maysky clearings, Bogorodskoye Highway, and Mitkovsky drive, it is planned to bring the remaining section of the health trail into order. As part of the work, the surface will be replaced, and workout areas along it will also be updated. In addition, a new section of the health trail will be created in the territory near the Tion Zadon region.

Specialists will restore the gazebo to its historical location — on the island of the Large Olenyi Pond, and they will also restore the lost bridge leading to it. In addition, there are plans to organize a new walking zone and to repair the children’s playground.
At the site of existing sports grounds, an area will be arranged for passing physical fitness standards, a large space for workout activities, as well as a place for sports activities for people with physical disabilities and representatives of the older generation.
The works will affect the banks of the Lower May Pond. Specialists will restore the “Ozernoe” café pavilion. The round-shaped pavilion will be made in a historical style. Currently, a closed café “Lebyazhye” is located on this site. In addition, a pavilion-gazebo will be installed for holding small events. The surrounding water area will be transformed: here, paths will be renewed and new benches will be installed.
The bird recovery and adaptation area of the Moscow Zoo is very popular, so this year it is planned to equip a four-tiered stand inside the aviary.
A makeup room will appear near the Central stage. The sports infrastructure near 1st Luchevoy Prosek will be updated, and for the needs of the park, two new administrative and utility pavilions will be built on the site of demolished buildings, which were left in an emergency condition.
