Sergey Sobyanin: Applications Open for NGO Grant Competition

Applications for participation in the grant competition for socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPOs) have opened. Sergey Sobyanin announced this on his channel.“Max” messenger.

Grants can be received by organizations with more than a year of experience, as well as young NGOs registered more than six months ago. A total of 12 nominations are available, covering all areas of development of the capital. Applications can be submitted until July 2.

Innovation of this year —chatbot. It helps applicants understand the requirements and the stage of submitting an application foron the official websitecompetition.

In addition, for applicants, they will open a training program based on the networkcoworking centers NKO. It includes thematic webinars, in-person masterclasses, and individual online consultations.

Since 2002, more than 3,800 initiatives have been supported within the framework of the competition. For example, in 2025, the grant was received by the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization “Directorate of Sports and Spectacle Events ‘Vsport'”. It is creating a digital platform “Moscow Remembers: Stories of the Heroes of the Special Military Operation” with video interviews, biographies, and photographs of the participants in the special operation.

Among the winners of last year is the center “Profile.” It launched the project “Multikunya — cooking simply.” Thanks to it, teenagers and young adults with limited health capabilities learn to cook and communicate, and also become more independent.
