Saint Petersburg, June 1 /TASS/ — From June 3 to 6, the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will take place in Saint Petersburg, with participation confirmed by guests from more than 130 countries and territories, including heads of state structures, representatives of international organizations, business, expert, and scientific communities.
According to the organizers, a large-scale presentation space will be deployed at the SPIEF venue for Russian regions, federal agencies, and public organizations.
The exhibition will feature projects in the fields of industry, science, technology, logistics, tourism, the creative economy, and youth entrepreneurship. More than 20 regions will showcase their achievements.
“The broad international representation of SPIEF-2026 confirms that the forum retains the significance of a key global space for building partnerships, exchanging experience, and forming new directions of cooperation,” noted Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of Russia and responsible secretary of the SPIEF organizational committee.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak at the plenary session of the forum on June 5. Within the framework of the SPIEF, there will be discussions, round tables, project presentations, and signing ceremonies. The Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises, the “Pharmaceutical Safety” Forum, the Creative Industries Forum, and the Youth “Day of the Future” are also planned to be held. Saudi Arabia will be the guest country of SPIEF this year.
