Meeting at AMLUIS
The delegation of the Saint Petersburg State Architectural and Construction University visited the Kingdom of Morocco at the invitation of the Moroccan Association of Alumni of Universities and Institutes of the former Soviet Union (AMLUIS).

President of AMLUISMohamed Fakiriwarmly welcomed representatives of SPbGASU and emphasized the importance of the visit for strengthening Russian-Moroccan academic ties. He expressed confidence in the further development of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between SPbGASU and Moroccan technical universities, noting the high potential for the implementation of joint educational, scientific, and applied projects.

During the trip, representatives of SPBGASU visited leading educational institutions in Morocco: National schools of architecture in Rabat andin Tetouan, Mohammed V University, the Moroccan engineering school EMG, as well as Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the creation of joint educational programs, the organization of summer schools and intensive courses for students and young researchers, the development of scientific collaboration, and the implementation of joint research projects.
Special attention was given to the possibility of preparing joint qualification works. It is assumed that students will be able to conduct research under the guidance of two scientific supervisors – from SPbGASU and a partner university in Morocco, which will allow combining the academic experience of both sides and expanding the range of research topics.
The Moroccan side also highly appreciated the experience of the Leningrad school of restoration and conservation. It was noted that in Morocco, special attention is paid to the issues of preserving historical heritage and reconstructing architectural sites as an important element in the development of culture and tourism.
During the visit, a meeting was held at the Russian House in Rabat with its head.Vladimir Petrovich Sokolov.During the meeting, issues of support for Moroccan applicants entering Russian universities under the Russian Federation quota, as well as prospects for carrying out restoration and conservation work on the Russian House building with the involvement of specialized specialists from SPbGASU, were discussed.
In addition, a meeting was held in Marrakesh with the director of a private general education schoolGassanom Uazhnati.The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of education and the possibilities of attracting school graduates to study at SPbGASU. As a result of the meeting, a preliminary plan of interaction was outlined, including informational support, the organization of meetings with students and teachers, as well as the participation of university representatives in school events.
As a result of the meeting, representatives of SPBGASU and AMLUIS signed a cooperation agreement providing for the development of educational, scientific, and cultural ties between the parties.
According to the agreements reached, AMLUIS will facilitate the promotion of SPBGASU in the Moroccan educational market, ensure the participation of the university in educational exhibitions and scientific events, provide support in developing a student recruitment strategy, as well as promote the conclusion of partnership agreements with Moroccan universities and organizations.
In turn, SPBGASU plans to organize professional training and internships for AMLUIS representatives, send university teachers to conduct trainings and scientific events in Morocco, as well as assist in holding conferences dedicated to Moroccan culture at the university.
The signed agreement opens up new opportunities for the development of academic mobility, the implementation of joint projects, and the strengthening of international cooperation between SPbGASU and educational and professional organizations in Morocco.
