On International Children’s Day, the First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko participated in the 5th International Festival of Childhood and Youth “Movement Festival.”

They awarded the winners of the II All-Russian prize “Conversations about the Important”. Sergey Kiriyenko congratulated the winners in the nomination “Best Interview of the Year” according to the pedagogical community. He presented the award to the ambulance brigade of the 17th substation of the city of Moscow – to paramedics Tatyana Bogdanova and Dmitry Tarasov, as well as to driver Valery Solomennoy.

“During the project ‘Conversations about the Important,’ which appeared at the instruction of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin four years ago, it is told about what we live for, what we dream about, what we strive for, and what largely defines the life of each of us. Convictions are passed from person to person, therefore I want to express gratitude to all the teachers who prepare for these lessons, investing a piece of their soul and heart, as well as to the experts ready to come to the children, share their experience, and reveal an inner piece of their soul,” said Sergey Kiriyenko.

Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated the winner in the category “Best Interview of the Year” according to parents. The award was received by Hero of Russia Lyudmila Bolilaya.

“Parents, as we know, never wish anything bad for their own children – they love them, sometimes unconditionally, but definitely selflessly. So, the fact that they mark the importance of the project ‘Conversations About Important Things’ in such a monumental research scope – 80% – speaks of the incredible relevance of the topic for our children. The nomination ‘Interview’ is always about the truth. And when every week 20 million of our students, nearly 700 thousand teachers and mentors conduct lessons about important things – it gives an incredible effect. The significance of each such interview is hard to overestimate,” emphasized the Vice Prime Minister.

Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented the award in the category “Best Session from Partners.” “We are convinced that ‘Conversations about the Important’ are in demand and necessary. The project generates great interest and enjoys wide support from all participants in the educational process. It is also important that the children can participate in preparing materials for the sessions, propose topics for discussion, and choose the people they would like to talk to among the teachers,” he noted.

The results of the voting among schoolchildren and students in the nomination “Best Interview of the Year” were announced by the Hero of Russia, graduate of the presidential personnel program “Time of Heroes”, chairman of the board of the “First Movement” Artur Orlov. The absolute leader was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Nina Demesheva.

Also, within the framework of the festival, Dmitry Chernyshenko, together with the head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov, commented on the performances of the teams – participants in the debates dedicated to the directions of the Children’s program of the International Youth Festival – 2026. The discussion involved 75 children, as well as representatives of children’s and youth organizations from more than 20 countries.

“Friends, we are all absolutely different. We have different histories of the creation of our states, histories of our peoples. But it is very important that we have, judging by everything, common values and a shared attitude towards what is happening. We all want a fair, bright, safe future for ourselves and our children. The future is in your hands. Here, in Russia, President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin sets the main task as creating conditions for our children so that they can realize their opportunities and talents. We will be very glad if you can get acquainted with what we are doing, appreciate it — maybe apply it yourselves and teach us something.””We are ready to learn, to adopt all the best and to share the very best that we have,” noted the vice-premier.

Artur Orlov emphasized the importance that it is precisely children and teenagers themselves who propose ideas and openly talk about how they see the Children’s Program of the International Youth Festival – 2026: “Today at the ‘Movement First’ festival, participants and representatives of youth organizations from more than 20 countries discuss topics that concern young people around the world: the role of artificial intelligence, safety in the digital environment, media, sports, science, creativity, and others.”During the debates, the guys showed a very mature and responsible perspective: technology should help a person learn, create, and develop, but not replace live communication, independent thinking, and personal responsibility. Our task is to listen to children, support their initiatives, and create comfortable conditions for the implementation of ideas.

Moreover, Dmitry Chernyshenko evaluated the exposition of the “Movement of the First” festival. Thus, at the “Rosatom” stand, the Deputy Prime Minister was presented with a model of a nuclear power plant device and the electric car “Atom.” A quest dedicated to traditional spiritual and moral values was held at the House of the Peoples of Russia. At the VK company stand, the Deputy Prime Minister took part in the discussion of technological solutions. The deputy chairman of the board of the “First Movement” Nikita Nagorny presented to Dmitry Chernyshenko an exhibition of the sports town, including the physical fitness and health society “Dynamo”, the CSKA football club, SMP Racing, and the drone racing federation.
