Moscow Metro has begun a large-scale upgrade of the payment infrastructure at the “Delovoy Tsentr” station, which serves the key financial cluster “Moscow City.”
As part of the city’s long-term technological strategy, 17 innovative turnstiles of the new generation are being launched here. The equipment, fully designed and manufactured based on Moscow’s microelectronics enterprises, is intended to establish new standards of speed and digital comfort in the field of global transport fintech.

Key advantages of modernization:
Absolute multi-format payment.New devices support a record number of payment gateways worldwide: from contactless bank cards and virtual travel passes to fast payment systems and instant biometric payments.
Increase in throughput capacity by 40%.Transitioning to a sovereign component base and domestic software allowed minimizing equipment response time and completely eliminating queues during peak hours.
Ergonomics and space optimization.A more compact device housing allowed increasing the total number of accessible routes to the station by 20% without redeveloping the lobby.
Intuitive interface. The equipment is equipped with adaptive lighting and a tactile vibration feedback system that helps the passenger instantly read the transaction status.
“According to the task set by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, by the end of 2031, more than 4,500 new-generation turnstiles will be installed at metro stations, the Moscow Central Circle, and the Moscow Central Diameters. The implementation of advanced metropolitan microelectronics will allow us to increase the infrastructure’s throughput capacity by 40%, guaranteeing passengers maximum travel speed and the highest level of digital service in a metropolis,” added Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov.
